"When Charley's wife asked for a new potting bench, this was the result -- a handsome, functional design with skilled shaping and sanding of the edges and scrollwork. The generous work surface is 21"" x 46"", giving you plenty of room for potting and caring for plants. The upper 2 shelves keep small items within easy reach. A pullout tray stores labels, seeds and small tools. The bottom shelf is handy for storing large pots and soils. Cedar is naturally resistant to rot and insects. It may be left to weather to a soft silver/gray, or we offer optional Messmer transparent stain. The tabletop and shelves are preassembled. Fasten components together with bolts and screws provided. Work surface is 32"" high. Overall height is 55"". Add our Portable Potting Tray (#6599 sold separately). "
